Cheque presentation towards church sound system

A cheque presentation took place in Maggies Tavern in St. Johnston of the funds raised from a charity barbecue in aid of the sound system for St. Baithin’s Church, St Johnston.

Fr Philip Kemmy and Fr Martin Cunningham were there to collect the cheque for €4,400 – a wonderful effort indeed.

It was the latest fundraiser to be held at Maggies Tavern – a venue that continues to play host to so many local community and charity events. A big well done to everyone involved.

Included in the photo are, front row, Margaret McNamee, Fr Philip Kemmy, Fr Martin Cunningham, Alice Lynch and Patricia Allen. Back row, Robbie Porter, Joe McKean, Vincent McGrath, Tony Rodgers, Maura and Neil Sweeney.
