FR Joe O’Donnell, CC, Mountcharles and Drimarone is the new Parish Priest of Ballintra. He succeeds Fr Seamus Dagens who is to retire.
Details of the changes of Clergy in the Diocese for 2016 have been announced by Most Rev Philip Boyce, OCD, Bishop of Raphoe this afternoon.
Fr Francis Ferry, residing in Massmount, is to be the new curate in Mountcharles and Drimarone
Meanwhile, Canon Austin Laverty, PP, VF, Ardara is to be Dean of the Diocesan Cathedral Chapter with Rev Michael Herrity, PP, VF, Annagry to be a Canon of the Chapter.
The changes come into effect from Saturday, June 18
