Clg Baile na nGalloglách launched a major Club Development Draw last month to help fund a new indoor hall, second pitch and training pitch at the Moyle View grounds. The draw aims to support the future of Gaelic games for generations to come in Rathmullan, Ramelton and Milford and tickets cost €100 or €10 per week, with the first draw set to take place on August 8.
There is a guaranteed prize pot of €26,000 but organisers are running an early bird draw this Monday for anyone who has already bought a ticket and is fully paid before Sunday at midnight. Prizes for the early bird draw include a €200 One 4 All voucher, Air Pods sponsored by Kelo Communications and a ticket for the Club Development Draw.
Club chairperson Aodh McCormack is encouraging people to get behind the fundraiser and get their tickets now to avail of the early bird draw: “We have been blown away by the support of people from around the globe who have already purchased a ticket for the draw. We have had sales in New York, Dubai, New Zealand, London, Australia and Canada from people who have connections to the club and want to help us with our proposal of the new development. The early bird draw is our way of saying thanks to everyone for digging deep and not only will anyone fully paid get into the early bird draw, they’ll also be entered into two additional draws to win €500 cash on week one and week six.”
Adding to this McCormack said: “There’s only four weeks left until the big draw and each week there will be six cash prizes drawn for €1,000, €500, €300 and 3 x €200. Please support our future at get your tickets from any committee member or online at milfordgaadraw.ie.”
Clg Baile na nGalloglách brings together Rathmullan, Milford and Ramelton and the club has over 750 members with teams from grassroots level right up to senior squads. It is hoped that the new proposal will get underway in 2022 and will support future generations to come with state-of-the-art facilities in Milford.
