HAVE you ever dreamt of working on a movie set? You could now be in with a chance as the Donegal Film Office has put out a call for crew for the new Liam Neeson blockbuster ‘In the land of Saints and Sinners’.
Filming will take place in Donegal later this year and the search is on for people with some experience in film and television production and new entrants who live within a 45km radius of the production office in Killybegs.
The feature film will be shot in and around Kilcar and the Glencolmcille area in April and May.
“This is a great opportunity for local skilled talent and people with an interest in the business,” said a spokesperson for the Film Office.
The positions are paid and the trainees and new entrants will receive bespoke on-the-job training and mentoring as part of your employment. You must be available to work full-time during late March, April, and early May.
There are positions across all departments including production; locations; accounts; camera; art department/props; costume; assistant directors; sound and hair/make up.
Applicants must be over 18, proof of address will be required and own transport is essential. Applicants must be legally allowed to work in Ireland and must be an EU citizen or have an Irish work permit.
