The meeting of St Michael’s and Naomh Conaill at the Bridge on Sunday has the makings of a championship cracker.
Both teams have three points to their name after two games. It’s a delicate place to be. A win will pretty much guarantee a quarter-final spot, but the losers will be nervously looking over their shoulders going into the last round.
St Michael’s certainly could have got easier games but full-back Liam Paul Ferry is happy to face the 2019 and 2020 Dr Maguire Cup winners.
“You want to get the big teams in the championship.”
