BALLYHOLEY Farm Shop which is located on the main Letterkenny to Lifford Road some six kilometres from the Manor Roundabout in the town land of Ballyholey are celebrating their first anniversary this weekend. A small family run business they pride themselves on producing fantastic tasting, sustainably produced vegetables and spuds.
Talking to proprietor John Graham, he said that :’’on our farm we produce a wide range of vegetables using manure produced from our own cattle to improve the soil as well as working closely with leading plant breeders to get the very best varieties and quality of seed to grow. Crop rotation, fleeces, green manures, planting density coupled with various other skills which have been fined tuned over generations to control weeds all contribute to the end product.

To take the hassle out of Christmas for their customers Ballyholey Farm Shop have ‘Customer Order Forms’ which you can pick up at the shop or at the Letterkenny Artisan Market on Saturday’s or indeed if you require they can e mail you a copy. Simply tick the boxes of the products your require and they will have them ready for Christmas week collection. For Letterkenny based customers you can pick up your order at the Letterkenny Artisan Market on Wednesday 23rd. December if that suits
you better than calling at the Farm Shop.
