LETTERKENNY Athletic Club hosted a reception for Nakita Burke on Tuesday evening to mark her victory in the national novice cross country championships.
The Black and Amber were out in full force to celebrate the achievement of the thirty-year-old primary school teacher who stormed to victory in Waterford on Sunday last.
Included in their number were double Olympian Danny McDaid, Irish Athletics team manager Teresa McDaid, her coach Sean McFadden, LAC chairman Aidan McKenna, her proud parents Tommy and Marie and brothers Jerome, Jason and Kyle as well as many of her training partners.
