CCTV sought after three men try to force driver from car

CCTV is being sought by gardaí after three men demanded a man get out of his vehicle in Milford.

Gardaí in Milford are investigating the incident, which occurred at Carrownaganonagh in the early hours of Thursday, May 29 at approximately 3am.

A man has reported that he was driving at that location when three men who were wearing dark clothing emerged onto the road from a vacant farmhouse along the roadside. One of the men demanded that he exit the car while the other two blocked his path ahead. The driver managed to leave the area.

A garda spokesperson said: “Our investigation into the matter is ongoing and CCTV is being sought as part of that.

“We appeal to anyone who may have been in the area with a dash-cam between 2am and 4am to make the footage available to Gardaí. If anyone travelled in that area and observed three men on foot or if they can assist with relevant information, we ask them to contact Milford Garda Station on (074) 9153060 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
