CCTV from businesses in the Letterkenny area is being examined by gardaí after a boy was filmed deliberately damaging a parked car.
Gardaí in Letterkenny are investigating the incident of criminal damage, which occurred on Tuesday, December 12 at 7.30pm at Main Street.
Gardaí say a car was parked at that location and a boy who was accompanied by two girls walked past the car.
“The boy appears to have deliberately caused a large scrape to the passenger side of the car as he passed it. The boy and the girls were walking in the direction of Upper Main Street/Old Courthouse at the time.
“We appeal to road users who may have dash cam footage from the area around that time to make it available to Gardaí in Letterkenny on (074)-9167100. We appeal to the boy in question to come forward. CCTV is being checked from businesses in the area. We would much rather he came to us than the other way around.”
