Donegal GAA’s Competitions Controls Committee (CCC) is to investigate an alleged incident that occurred near the end of the Donegal Senior Hurling championship meeting of Setanta and Burt at the Cross on Saturday, July 27.
The investigation will centre on reports that a cup of coffee was thrown at Burt forward Ronan McDermott by a spectator as referee James Connors was dealing with a brief flare up at the dressing room side of the grounds.
