McGuinness set to hold seat as McDermott cruises home


VETERAN Fine Gael politician Bernard McGuinness looks set to hold his seat in North Inishowen. He had faced a challenge from Fianna Fail’s Marie Duffy however tallies show Councillor McGuinness comfortably ahead. Martin McDermott of FF was the big winner in the constituency claiming a stunning 34.5 per-cent of the overall tally.
