Cash stolen from car parked at medical practice

Gardaí are reminding people not to leave any valuables in their vehicles when unattended following the theft of cash from a car parked at a medical centre in Letterkenny.

The theft occurred at a car park on the Pearse Road area sometime between Tuesday, August 19 at 3pm and midday the following day.

Gardaí have said an unlocked car was entered at that location and a small sum of cash was stolen from within.

Anyone who can offer relevant information in relation to this incident is urged to contact gardaí in Letterkenny on (074) 9167100.

“We wish to remind drivers to always ensure that their vehicle is locked when unattended. Do not leave valuables or cash in your car and do not leave anything of value within view. Always report any suspicious activity you see in areas where there are parked cars to Gardaí immediately,” a garda spokesperson said.
