A CARRIGART based farmer is standing in both the Milford and Letterkenny electoral areas as he believes time is running out for “the people to take control of the country”.
Vincent Bradley sees the increased number of non-nationals standing in the local elections as a way of diluting the Irish culture and way of life and believes government “has weaponised our kindness”.
Speaking to the Donegal News yesterday he said if he cannot take a seat on both municipal districts, he would hope to take one.
“There is a theory that councillors have no powers then why do people vote them in and why are all the political parties anxious to get their people in at this low level? That argument does not wash,” Mr Bradley said.
He wants to be a voice for the people and believes that globalism wants to destroy national cultures be it Irish or African.
“We are too small a country to absorb so many immigrants. The government has weaponised our kindness.
“The reason I have decided to stand is that I believe in five years time we will be listening to the same nonsense and I need to try and stand up now,” Mr Bradley said.
