Car stolen at knife-point near Raphoe

An Garda Siochana WEB

GARDAI have appealed for information on two men who stole a car at knife-point from a woman in the Raphoe area on Tuesday night.

The incident happened in the Ballyholey area just after 6.30pm.
Prior to the hijacking, two men in a blue Northern Ireland registered Volvo car were in a collision with another vehicle as they travelled along the Lifford to Letterkenny road.

The two men abandoned their crashed car and ran to a nearby house where they threatened the woman with a knife before stealing her car – a black, Donegal registered Opel Corsa. They then drove off towards Letterkenny.
The woman and a man, who were in the other car involved in the collision, were left shaken but not seriously injured.
