AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a car crashed through the front of a bank in Falcarragh in the early hours of this morning.
The silver Toyota car crashed into the Bank of Ireland on the town’s main street.
There were no reports of serious injuries.
Considerable damage was caused to the building and it is unknown whether or not the bank will open for business tomorrow.
The Bank of Ireland is the last remaining in the town after the AIB closed its doors during the summer of 2013.
A private security company, staff from the bank and the Gardai were at the scene overnight.
