Jamie Doherty is hoping his Cappry Rovers side can get over the line this weekend and ensure safety as they take on Castlefin Celtic.
Cappry are 5th from bottom on 20 points with two games to go, while this weekend’s opponents are second last on 16, and Bonagee and St Catherine’s split the pair on 18 and 17 points respectively.
A win this weekend would all but ensure safety for Doherty and his side, but he fully expects a tough game from a Castlefin side fighting for their lives.
“It’s a big if that we win this weekend as it’ll be a tough game against Castlefin, they’re always tough and they’re always close.
