WHEN Letterkenny Gaels won their first adult Championship title last October, there were massive celebrations for the club to finally get over the line in the Junior ‘A’ Championship.
A good crowd was in O’Donnell Park that day as they beat Carndonagh by 0-12 to 0-10 and there wouldn’t have been many club members missing the occasion.
But for former Gaels player Ciaran Cannon, he had to find out the result via Twitter after seeing his Clonmel Commercials side win the Tipperary Senior Football Championship the same day.
