CANNING – The death has occurred at Hillcrest House, Long Lane, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal of Sr. Enda Canning, Convent of Mercy, Buncrana and formerly of Glenvar.

Deeply regretted by the Sisters of Mercy, Northern Province, brother John (London), sisters Sheila McDaid (Limerick), Sophia Wigham (Derry), Nora Dunne (Letterkenny), Kathleen Desmond (Derry) and Vera McElhinney (Rathmullan), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Sr. Enda’s remains will repose at Hillcrest House, Long Lane Letterkenny today, Friday 16th and Saturday 17th February from 12 noon to 8 pm each day with Rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Sunday (18th) at 6 pm going to St. Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana to repose Sunday and Monday nights. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (20th) at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Cockhill Cemetery.
