A WATER-LOGGED tent and a pile of beer cans left behind by campers in Glenveagh National Park over the Christmas weekend have now been cleared away.
Initial concerns that the six men, who set up their tent near the Derrylahan Trail were there due to economic circumstances have been dispelled, after they walked away and left their tent and rubbish behind them.
Mr Dave Duggan, Deputy Regional Manager of the National Parks and Wildlife Service told the Donegal News yesterday (Thursday) he had initial concerns when walkers reported seeing the men and the tent.
