CAHILL, Karen – known to her family as Wabby, Karen grew up in Killybegs in a loving family environment. She moved to Galway nine years ago, having live the past four years in Tuam. In Galway she met Eoin where they have been together nearly five years and where Matthew was born in 2017, bringing so much joy.

Karen passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in UCH, Galway. Karen is lovingly regretted by her partner Eoin and son Matthew, She will be deeply missed by her Mother Emer and Husband Ed, Brothers, Shane, Dara and Sister Grace, Her father Stuart and wife Fiona and her brother Fionn, grandparents Brian and Emer, aunts, uncles, cousins, grand aunts and grand uncles, and the extended Cahill, Conway, Burns, Travers and Byrnes families and her many friends.

And now you are a guardian angel in Heaven.

In accordance with Government and HSE guidelines the wake and funeral are private.

Karen’s remains will be reposing at her mothers’ Emer residence on Friday from 12 noon to 8 pm. Funeral from there on Saturday morning at 10.30 am via the Old Road joining the Shore Road.
