A BURST water main in the Lifford area is impacting water supply for up to 500 properties. Irish Water and Donegal County Council are currently working to repair the water main which is affecting the Rossgier, Cavan Hill, Drumlene, Swilly Bridge, Stumpys Brae and Dromore areas. Traffic management measures are in operation. It is expected that the repairs will be completed by 1pm today.
A spokesperson for the utility company said: “Irish Water understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers.
