NAKITA Burke believes her chance to compete against some of Europe’s best was a ‘real once in a lifetime moment’.
Letterkenny AC were competing in the European Club Cross Country Championships in Spain on Sunday, with the club finishing 10th.
Burke was the first finisher for the Donegal team in Oropesa del Mar, coming home in 24th in an extremely competitive field with a time of 29:50.

“I was really happy with my performance, I finished 25th last time but I feel there was a lot more quality in the race this year.
“The girl who won it last year was only fourth this time so in comparison to that it was a really good run.”
