BURKE – The death has occurred of Edmond (Ned) Burke, Foremass, Scotstown, Co. Monaghan and formerly Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal and Watergrasshill, Co. Cork, Wednesday, 11th January, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased and reunited with his cherished daughter Rosemarie.
Sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Marie; sons Patrick and Finbarr; daughter Margaret; daughter-in-law Trish; son-in-law Mick; grandsons Rory, Malachi and Liam; brother James; sister Mary (Birmingham), relatives, friends and neighbours.
May his gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Edmond’s remains will repose at his home on Friday, 13th January, house private to family only please. Removal on Saturday morning to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Urbleshanny for 11 am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Cavan / Monaghan Palliative Care, c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon’s Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.
