Gaeil Fhánada 1-8 Buncrana 3-6
Niall Breslin struck two goals as Buncrana powered past Gaeil Fhánada in the second half of their Under 21 ‘B’ Championship Group B contest in Pairc Uí Siadhail today.
An Eoin McGonigle three-pointer had Fanad in front by the minimum at the break.
However, Breslin hit his first goal 52 seconds after the resumption.
Buncrana then scored two goals in the space of one minute with Sean McLaughlin and Breslin finishing to the net.
Fanad kept battling to the end in difficult conditions but it was Buncrana prevailed and they are now through to the quarter-finals of the competition.
