Browne moves on to Mayo match

THE Donegal hurlers encountered a harrowing afternoon against Kildare in Newbridge last Saturday but they can’t afford to dwell on that with a big match against Mayo on the horizon this Sunday at 2pm in O’Donnell Park.

Kildare are preparing to play in the Joe McDonagh Cup this year after winning the Christy Ring last season.

Donegal manager Mickey McCann admitted that it was always going to be unlikely that they would get a positive result in St Conleth’s Park, but he was hoping his men would be competitive and put in a good performance.
