Glenswilly 2-12
St. Michaels 0-6
A masterful display from Ciaran Bonner inspired Glenswilly to a comfortable win over St. Michael’s yesterday afternoon to keep the home side’s hopes of Division One survival alive.
The former county man chalked up 0-6 including three in the first few minutes as Glenswilly steamrolled their way past a St.Michael’s outfit who looked for all the world like they would rather have been somewhere else on a wet Sunday afternoon.
The home side certainly didn’t look like a team planted at the foot of the table. Even without the injured Michael Murphy who watched the game from the stand, they moved the ball swiftly and accurately and time and again they carved through the St.Michael’s defence.
