Gaeil Fhánada 2-9 Milford 1-17
Shane Black was in scintillating form as Milford got their Intermediate Championship off to a good start with a hard-fought win over Gaeil Fhánada this evening.
Milford made a fast start and were five ahead by the end of the first quarter but Fanad stood firm and goals from Michael Sweeney and Liam McGrenaghan pushed them into the lead in the second half.

The away side gradually clawed their way back with Black leading the charge, and they put some gloss on their win with a goal from Kane Barrett at the death.
