A body of a man has been found in an apartment in the High Road area of Letterkenny.

Gardai are currently at the scene and the area has been cordoned off.

The state pathologist has been notified and the assistant state pathologist will carry out a post mortem later today.

Gardai say they are investigating all circumstances but at present, they are not treating the death as suspicious.
