Brave Noah made an honorary garda

A BRAVE Donegal boy who was diagnosed with Leukemia two years ago is the newest recruit to the force having been made an honorary garda.

Noah Gooch was welcomed to Letterkenny Garda Station for a special graduation ceremony last week.

Noah is the son of proud parents, Highland Radio presenter Lee and his wife Claire. He has one brother, Lee Jnr. Superintendent Goretti Sheridan presented the youngster with his medal and certificate at the special event.

Honorary Garda Noah, who has Down Syndrome, was also joined at the party by some of his Little Blue Heroes colleagues including Honorary Gardaí Jack, Eoin and Kane.

‘Spiderman’ also just happened to be in the neighbourhood and called in to Letterkenny Garda Station to congratulate honorary garda Noah.
