Marty Boyle is part of the Donegal senior football management team this season.
The Naomh Conaill stalwart has a long association with Jim McGuinness.
He played alongside him for many years, and was also part of the All-Ireland winning panel in 2012.
Boyle is believed to be working on video analysis with the team when his work commitments allow.
McGuinness said: “Marty just comes in and gives his time as best as he can.
“His own job is evening work so it’s not easy to have him about the place all the time but he’s a good football man.
“He understands football so we will just try and tap in to that as best as possible.”
