Drogheda United 1-1 Finn Harps
NATHAN Boyle struck a second half equaliser as Finn Harps drew with Drogheda in the first leg of their promotion play-off at United Park tonight.
Drogheda hit the front in the 13th minute when Ciaran Kelly coolly finished into the bottom corner.
Mikey Place did have a goal disallowed and was unlucky with another shot, but Harps struggled in midfield and defence and were fortunate not to be more than one goal behind at half-time.

The third quarter was even without a lot of goalmouth activity, but Harps then equalised in the 67th minute when Nathan Boyle fired to the net.
Drogheda were the better team in the closing exchanges but they couldn’t find a second goal.
Harps will need to improve ahead of the second leg in Finn Park next Friday, but Ollie Horgan’s men will fancy their chances of victory in Ballybofey.
