Boyle doesn’t expect any complacency from Donegal

DONEGAL legend Tony Boyle doesn’t expect Declan Bonner and his management team to allow complacency to set in to the senior team ahead of their Ulster semi-final against Armagh.

Boyle was part of the Donegal team in 1995 when they knocked out reigning All-Ireland champions Down in their first match, but then lost to underdogs Monaghan the next day out.

The current crop of Donegal players go into Saturday’s match on a high after a super win over Tyrone and Boyle doesn’t think they will be taking Armagh for granted.

“They’ll definitely have to be careful, but a team’s preparation is very different these days.

“Maybe back in the day, teams put in more work getting ready for certain games than others but I don’t think that happens anymore.
