Boyle and Tooreen hope for All-Ireland glory

Burt man Joe Boyle will hope for second time lucky in the All-Ireland Club Intermediate Hurling Final this Saturday.

Boyle now plays for Mayo club Tooreen and they have been knocking on the door in recent years.

Indeed they reached the All-Ireland Final in 2023 but lost to Limerick club Monaleen.

Former Donegal captain Boyle is still going strong with Tooreen and helped his adopted to club to a convincing semi-final win over Carrickmore before Christmas.

Now Tipperary side Upperchurch-Drombane stand in their way at Croke Park on Saturday with throw-in at 5.15pm.
