Bookies put Donegal model at 33/1 to win glitter ball

THE BOOKIES have slashed Donegal model Grainne Gallanagh’s chances of winning Dancing With the Stars in their latest predictions.

Boyle Sports have Grainne at 33/1 to win the coveted glitter ball with Lottie Ryan the front runner followed by Ryan Andrews (13-8).

Giving their predictions on who is most likely to be eliminated next they say Fr Ray Kelly is expected to be the fourth celebrity dancer to leave.

He is the 1/2 favourite from 5/6 with BoyleSports to get booted off the show next after scoring only 10 points for his Viennese Waltz to ‘Hallelujah’ last weekend.

Former Miss Universe Ireland winner Grainne impressed the judges with her performance to ‘Unstoppable’ by Sia on Sunday’s latest instalment that earned her a score of 27 points. She was quickly backed into 9/1 from 20/1 following that routine but the odds have now fallen to 33/1 and in a shock turnaround the Buncrana beauty is just 9/4 to be eliminated next.

Dancing with the Stars will create history this weekend as two sets of same-sex couples will strut their stuff in front the judging panel.

Brian Dowling and Kai Widdrington, and Lottie Ryan and Emily Barker, will take to the floor as same-sex partners, but Dowling is 12/1 to go home next while Lottie looks safe as houses at a massive 100/1.

Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Fr. Ray Kelly will need all his prayers answered this weekend to stay safe for another week but at 1/2 it looks likely he will be sent packing. Grainne Gallanagh has drifted dramatically despite her brilliant performance last week but we would be surprised if she went home as Fr. Ray is such a hot favourite.”
