DONEGAL senior football manager Declan Bonner intends to stay in charge for the 2021 season, and says he and his management team will shortly begin a review of the 2020 campaign.
Donegal’s season came to a disappointing end when they were stunned by Cavan in the Ulster Final last Sunday
Bonner has now completed three years at the helm and was granted an extension to manage in 2021 in September of last year.
The Na Rossa clubman will meet with the County Board to look back at this season, which presented many challenges due to Covid-19.
“It’s been a very disappointing week, and everyone is hurting. It’s not an easy one to get over,” said Bonner.
“But we now have to try and move on and build towards 2021. We’ll have to hold a review of the season and analyse where things went right and where it went wrong.”
