IT is a long time since last June when our senior footballers last kicked a ball in competitive action.
The appetite certainly seems to be there to have intercounty ball back and it’s a time of the year that die-hard fans love.
They will think nothing of getting in the car on a bad morning and heading down the country, and I’d imagine there will be a good crowd in Newry on Sunday regardless of the weather.
