Yvonne on the double as Glenfin defeat Termon in final

Glenfin are the Donegal Senior Ladies Champions for the first time in four years after they got the better of Termon at O’Donnell Park today.

Glenfin played with the aid of the strong breeze in the first half and were 0-4 to 0-1 ahead after 21 minutes.

They then swooped for a goal in the 23rd minute when Yvonne Bonner rattled the net.

Roisin McCafferty replied with a free and Termon trailed by 1-4 to 0-2 at the break.

Bonner and Ciara McGarvey swapped scores at the start of the second half.

Glenfin took a big step towards victory when Bonner notched her second goal in the 37th minute.

The Pairc Taobhoige side were able to manage the game after that and clinch their sixth senior title.
