The draw for the round-robin in the All-Ireland Series has been made but there is no great appetite for it here in Donegal.
At a national level, there seems to be interest and curiosity at how it might play out.
There are 24 games to eliminate just four teams. There could be some good games between the top sides but I’m not sure we will get the cutting edge we want.
From a Donegal perspective, it would have been an ideal draw if things were going better than they are at the minute.
But confidence within the team is at a low ebb at present and it’s hard to see how it can be lifted.
On paper, they are all winnable games but only if there is a considerable improvement on what we have seen in recent weeks.
