BONNER- Donegal will need to show their heart and grit

It’s Round three of the National League this weekend and the table will really start to take shape by this  evening.

All the games in Division 1 are hard to call this week and the Monaghan v Donegal match in Clones definitely falls into that category.

Both teams will be keen to stay in the top flight, and they will fancy their chances of getting points today.

Seamus ‘Banty’ McEnaney stepped away as Monaghan manager at the end of last season and Vinny Corey was persuaded to take over as bainisteoir.

They have had a slow start to the season and lost out against Armagh in their first league game.

The Farney men then shipped a heavy defeat against Kerry down in Killarney two weeks ago.

It was a very similar Kerry team that lost against Donegal the week earlier but I don’t know how much can be read into that.
