IT will be all about preparation for the Donegal senior footballers this weekend as they gear up for the Ulster Championship and they will be content to watch the Division 1 final from the sofa.

There’s no doubt that the calendar has to be looked at. Championship games should not be played a week after the League Final, and that certainly had a bearing last weekend.

I’m sure Jim McGuinness and his management team will be happy with their lot.
