The body of a man has been recovered following a multi-agency search this morning. Gardaí were assisted by the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team and the coast guard.
The body of the man, who had been reported missing, was recovered at approximately 9am on Saturday morning. It is understood the recovery operation occurred at Errigal Mountain.
“The body has been removed from the scene and a post mortem will take place in due course,” said a Garda spokesperson.

“A file will be prepared for the Coroner’s Court. Investigations ongoing.”
