GARDAI have confirmed that a body has been found in the Manorcunningham area this morning.
A search had been ongoing for a local man who had been missing since yesterday afternoon and it is believed the body is that of a man in his sixties. The search has since been called off.
The discovery of the body is being investigated by gardai who have stressed that there is nothing suspicious about the circumstances.
