DONEGAL defender Conor Morrison will miss the next six to eight weeks after fracturing his ankle last Sunday.

Morrison was an unused substitute in last week’s victory over Kildare, but took part in a training session after the match when he picked up the injury.

It’s bad timing for the St Eunan’s defender, who suffered with concussion earlier this year, and has only played one game for the county this season.

That came in the Dr McKenna Cup Final against Tyrone, and he may have been in line to play against the Red Hands again this Saturday evening, but will now miss out.
