Blood Bike- with copy

A VOLUNTARY motorbike service providing the emergency transport of medical items in the north west is seeking new volunteers.

Launched back in September 2013, Blood Bike North West (BBNW) is on the lookout for riders, co-ordinators and group members.

If you are interested in joining BBNW, an information and free training day will be held this Sunday at Leck Road, Letterkenny, at the old Honda garage beside Century Cinemas.

Starting at 10 am, it will finish at approximately 2pm. This event is open to all, even if you do not own a motorbike there are still areas where you can help for only a few hours a month.

For motorcycle riders, you will need to have held a full bike licence for at least two years.
