Finn Harps are looking for a strong performance on Friday as they travel down to Wicklow to take on Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds.
Harps faced a minor setback a fortnight ago after drawing to bottom of the league Kerry at Mounthawk Park. Before that Harps had won three of their last four.
Bray held UCD to a 1-1 draw last Friday as they looked to secure a play-off spot.
Bray currently sit fourth, five points ahead of Harps in sixth. The Ballybofey men have a game in hand on Monday when they host Wexford at Finn Park.
The two sides have faced three times so far this season with Bray winning twice and Harps winning once.
Harps will feel that this is a must-win game if they want to get into the promotion playoff places.
Darren Murphy may have to dip into the academy to find a goalkeeper to start the match as usual first-choice Tim Heimer has been out of action since August and his replacement Oisin Cooney is on international duty with the Ireland U19s.
Bray will feel they are the favourites going into the match as they’re at home and the fact Harps haven’t won at the Carlisle Grounds since an FAI Cup second round tie in August 2020.
The match kicks off at 7.45pm.
