LETTERKENNY Summer Sessions have announced that Belfast trio Kneecap are set to play in town this summer.
Taking to social media this morning to make the announcement, the post stirred much excitement among locals.
“Kneecap are coming to Leitir Ceannain, Dhún na nGall on August 15.
“Many special guest to be announced,” the post read.
Merging Irish with English, satire with socially conscious lyrics, and reality with absurdity, Kneecap’s voice comes screaming from the too often deprived areas of the North of Ireland, speaking a language which is too-often ignored.
There seems to be no stopping their spectacular rise, with sold out tours in the US and UK.
Whether you understand half of what they’re saying or not, you won’t want to miss them.
Tickets go on sale Monday at 10am.
