Barrett recalled to the Ireland WNT squad

AMBER Barrett has been recalled to the Republic of Ireland Women’s squad ahead of their International friendlies against Italy and Wales.

Barrett famously scored the goal to send Ireland to the World Cup but she didn’t appear to be in favour when Eileen Gleeson took over as Interim boss.

Gleeson is now the permanent manager, and Milford woman Barrett has been included for the friendlies which will serve as part of the preparation for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2025 Qualifiers, which kick off in April following the Draw on March 5.
