Balor Auditions: The hills are alive with the Sound Of Music

Sound of Music

A MEETING will be held in the Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey on Monday, January 6, at 8pm for anyone interested in taking part in the next musical production of The Sound of Music.

It is 28 years since this hit musical has been produced at the Balor. So if you can sing, act or just want to be a part of the Sound of Music why not come along.

The Sound of Music is the tale of a fun-loving novice nun who is sent to work as a governess for a family of seven children with the hope that some time away from the convent will cure her wayward habits of frolicking in the mountainside proclaiming (in song of course) that the hills are alive with the sound of music.

The Mother Abbess’s plan goes awry, however, when Maria falls head over heels for the family, including the handsome yet aloof head of the house, Captain Von Trapp.
Producers are looking for people of all ages, so if you would like to get involved come along to The Balor Arts Centreon Monday at 8pm.
