DONEGAL County Council has announced the reopening of Ballyshannon Library and the extension of opening hours of Bundoran and Donegal Town Libraries from 16th September.
Ballyshannon will open on Wednesdays and Fridays between 9:30am – 1pm and 2pm – 5:30pm.
Donegal Town will open Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:30am – 1pm and 2pm – 5:30pm.
Finally Bundoran will be open Tuesday to Saturday at various times with Mondays reserved for scheduled appointments only. For a full list of opening hours please see below:

Ballyshannon Library “temporarily closed” four years ago during the pandemic and hasn’t opened since. But today’s news means patrons will be able to return to the facilities to borrow books, use the computers, and access the library’s online learning resources.
