BY RYAN FERRY

IT has been a memorable 2022 for the Ballyraine Under 16 team and they are looking to cap it off with a big win over Clare side Lifford AFC this Saturday.

Ballyraine have a formidable side and they are hoping to progress to the last 16 of the FAI Under 17 Cup.

Standing in their way are Lifford, who hail from Ennis, and they will travel up the road for a 12.30pm start at Leckview Park’s astroturf pitch.

It won’t be an easy assignment, but Ballyraine have met every challenge they have encountered this year, and they will back themselves to get a result.

“This is the last game of the year for the team and hopefully we can finish it off with a win,” said Ballyraine boss, Enda Nicholls.
